ECU not identified. Open a ticket attaching LOG and read files. Proceed Anyway?
Alientech Kess error message when reading.
If you receive this error message when trying to read an ECU with Kess then perform the following steps.
- Click "OK" to proceed anyway and try to ID and read the ECU.
- If ECU reads fine then submit your tuning file request as normal.
- If the ECU fails to read check the error read message to see if it advices of the correct protocol to use.
- If the ECU failed to read then submit a ticket on the dealer portal and attach the log files.
- We will send the log files to Alientech for support and come back to you.
